Incarcerated Women's Advocacy
About
We are a social justice cause that provides emotional support for incarcerated women. Visitation helps individuals maintain social ties during imprisonment which can improve inmate behavior and reduce recidivism.
Services
We organize monthly volunteer efforts. We do not provide any legal assistance, only emotional morale boosting mentor-ship from visitation and our pen pal program.
Projects
Monthly visitations to all female facilities in San Antonio through the TDCJ-Texas Department of Criminal Justice Director of Volunteer Services.
